If you frequently change fonts, adding the font menu to the toolbar will save you from needing to open the Home tab every time. The Quick Access Toolbar of each Word window can hold shortcuts to buttons and menus from across all of Word’s menu tabs. If you want to shave even more time off font switching, however, you can add the Font menu to your Quick Access toolbar or change the default font for all documents. Instead of opening a separate window to change fonts in Word, you can use the Font drop-down menu on the “Home” tab.
